3-POINT LOCK: THREE SEPARATE LOCKS
The 3-point lock provides additional protection for an entrance door, for example.
This lock closes three lock slots at the same time.
The side locks are located:
- down the door,
- in the middle of the door,
- at the top of the door.
The vertical locks are located:
- down the door,
- at the top of the door.
REINFORCED DOOR
In locksmithing, shielding consists of reinforcing a door, a window, a shutter or its frame by means of metal protections offering increased resistance to burglary.
Metalworkers are now moving towards the manufacture of door units. A Door Block is a metal frame/door assembly with welded ball bearing hinges. There are a large number of means contributing to the shielding of a door, such as anti-pinch angles, flat plates, threshold bars.
